Iconic Liverpool band, Echo & The Bunnymen have announced the reissue their first four albums – Crocodiles, Heaven Up Here, Porcupine and Ocean Rain. The albums will be re-released on heavyweight black vinyl and limited edition coloured vinyl on 22nd October, and will be available from all music retailers.
It will be the first time in many years that fans will have the chance to get their hands on the vinyls, which were released in 1980, 1981, 1983 and 1984 respectively. You can pre-order the reissued albums here: https://lnk.to/EchoandtheBunnymen_Vinyl
Crocodiles was described by the NME at the time as “probably the best album this year by a British band”, and has since made plenty of ‘greatest album ever’ lists. Heaven Up Here was the band’s first UK Top 10 album, winning the 1981 ‘NME Best Album’ award.
Porcupine, now certified Gold, provided Echo & the Bunnymen with their highest charting performance, with single The Cutter reaching #8 and the album itself reaching #2. The fourth album to be reissued, Ocean Rain used a 35-piece orchestra with award winning composer Adam Peters, and boasted one of the band’s most popular hits, The Killing Moon.
