The Lathums ‘Under the Spotlight’

Ahead of the release of their debut album ‘How Beautiful Life Can Be’ on September 24th, The Lathums have become the latest stars of scotts menswear’s ‘Under the Spotlight’. The likes of Jamie Webster and Sam Tompkins have preceded the Wigan band in the series, which delves into the lives of some of the UK’s most promising new bands and artists.

In the latest episode, The Lathums take us on a journey through their hometown, starting at their rehearsal room and creative space where ‘the magic happens’. The show then takes us to Wigan Park, Wigan Pier and Wigan Market, where they filmed the acappella performance of the single ‘How Beautiful Life Can Be’, before moving to The Tipping Arms, the pub where the band played their earliest gigs.

After playing the Sefton Park pilot gig in front of 5000 people with Blossoms and Zuzu, releasing two outstanding new tracks and announcing a debut album, 2021 is turning out to be quite the year for The Lathums. They will also set out on their upgraded headline tour this year, including a sold out date at Manchester’s O2 Victoria Warehouse. You can watch The Lathums’ ‘Under the Spotlight’ episode below.
