Liverpool six-piece, Red Rum Club are back with their brilliant new single, ‘Nightcalling’, the first taste of new music this year from the Sound City 2021 headliners. It is taken from their newly announced third album, ‘How To Steal The World’, out Friday 22nd October via Modern Sky.
Red Rum Club’s wonerfully unique and vibrant sound has gained them a loyal, ever-increasing fanbase, as well as widespread acclaim and a reputation as being one of the most exciting bands in the UK right now. The new single follows ‘The Hollow Sessions’, an acoustic, stripped back album released earlier this year, with the band’s next chapter beginning in impressive fashion today.
‘Nightcalling’ is yet another signal of intention from a band with their eyes set on the bigger stages. Frontman, Fran Doran says: “’Nightcalling’ brings disco hooks for the dancefloor that we’re aching to jump onto together. While the club doors remain shut, it should be enjoyed blaring out of car speakers, cruising by on a late-night drive. The track is an energetic and cocky perspective of new love and the irrepressible excitement that accompanies it.”
