Live at Leeds festival will celebrate its 15th anniversary this year on Saturday 16th October, and today the north’s leading metropolitan festival has revealed the lineup for the landmark year. Sports Team and Frank Carter and the Rattlesnakes will headline the 2021 event, with the likes of The Big Moon, The Night Café and The Orielles also joining the bill. Tickets cost just £38 plus booking fee, with the full lineup as follows:
Frank Carter and the Rattlesnakes returned with their brilliant new track, ‘My Town’ which features Joe Talbot, the frontman of former Live at Leeds performers IDLES. The punk rock band are famed for their energetic live performances and are sure to put on a great show at the all day event.
Meanwhile, fellow headliners Sports Team will be keen to back up their Mercury-nominated debut album, ‘Deep Down Happy’ with a well deserved headline slot in October. The six-piece are one of the most exciting names in indie rock at the minute, making a name for themselves off the back of catchy hits and live shows, as well as their jovial online presence and tongue-in-cheek songwriting.
Live at Leeds has established a reputation over the last 15 years as being a hotspot for emerging music talent. The likes of Sam Fender, Royal Blood, The 1975, Stormzy and Ed Sheeran all played the festival earlier in their careers, so you can guarantee some of the 2021 crop will be approaching significant career breakthroughs.
