It has been a huge year so far for Manchester‘s The Slow Readers Club, following their most ambitious album release to date last month with “Out of a Dream”.

Now, they are set to embark on a special anniversary tour celebrating ten years since their seminal breakthrough album, “Cavalcade”.

A Decade of Cavalcade’ sees the band revisiting the album that features fan-favourite tracks such as Plant The SeedI Saw A Ghost and Forever In Your Debt.

The release of the album in 2015 resulted in The Slow Readers Club gaining an important fan in fellow Manchester band James, who invited them on a headline tour which saw the Readers’ fanbase grow significantly.

A decade on, the band will be performing Cavalcade in full alongside some other hits from across their discography.

Frontman Aaron Starkie commented: “Cavalcade was the album that changed everything for us. It connected with so many people and set us on this journey.

“To revisit it ten years later, at a time when we’re reaching new heights, feels really special. We can’t wait to celebrate it with our fans.”

Alongside the tour announcement, the band will release special anniversary editions of Cavalcade in new formats, including vinyl, CD, and cassette.

Fans can also look forward to exclusive A Decade of Cavalcade merchandise, all available through the band’s official webstore.

The tour presale begins tomorrow, before the general sale for tickets and merchandise opens on Friday April 11th 10am.

The album reissue date will be Friday November 28th.
