Cassia Announce New Album “everyone, outside”

Macclesfield‘s tropical indie-pop trio Cassia have revealed details of a new record, accompanied by a new single and news of a UK tour.

The band’s new studio album everyone, outside lands on April 11th, and the the follow-up to lead single “heat” is out now in the shape of the infectious “friends”.

The latest chapter sees the band embracing nature and recognising their true selves in the British outdoors.

Frontman, Rob Ellis commented: “That title, ‘everyone, outside’ started as a song about how weird it is that we stay inside all the time when being out in nature always makes us feel better.

“Over time, it came to mean more than that – like a metaphor for being your truest, most natural self, unburdened, like when no one’s watching.”

Fresh from two years of heavy touring, the band returned to their own studio in Macclesfield to record “everyone, outside” (via a trip to Mexico) following previous stints living in Berlin.

Drummer, Jacob Leff commented: “The time we spent in Berlin taught us so much, but coming back home to Macclesfield allowed us to really focus on making something that felt like it came from us. No distractions, just pure creativity“.

Cassia will return to the live stages in May this year, with 7 UK shows preceding a trip across the pond.

You can expect to hear the new material, which has been recorded live on TikTok for an inclusive fan experience.
