In just a month, the UK’s renowned Reading & Leeds festival will host 240,000 music enthusiasts with a groundbreaking lineup and two innovative new stages.
The Chevron, a trailblazing open-air venue with a 40,000 capacity, will showcase the world’s first floating video canopy, turning the sky into a mesmerizing, interactive display.
The Aux stage will bridge the digital and live entertainment worlds, featuring prominent digital content creators.
New acts for The Chevron’s legendary silent rave include DJ duo Billen Ted, drum & bass talent Mozey, electro dance producer Badger, and garage and grime DJ Flava D.
Additional performers include garage and house producer Bvnquet, Skeptic, Carlisle’s DJ Oldboy, Job Type & Versarchie, broadcaster and DJ Jeremiah Asiamah, acclaimed drum & bass artist Disrupta, and Crystal Palace Football Club’s official DJ Jay Knox.
The Aux stage will offer a variety of podcasts, interactive talks, and live streams on topics ranging from music and pop culture to fitness and mental health.
Newly announced presenters include internet stars Chunkz & Filly, bringing their popular YouTube show, The Chunkz & Filly Show, to the festival. Due to high demand, Max Balegde and George Clarke will bring The Useless Hotline podcast to Leeds.
Sephy and Wing, the self-proclaimed ‘podmothers’ of the Goes Without Saying podcast, will explore many unspoken topics, while Sydney Cassidy will present her Gym Girl’s Locker Room podcast, offering candid discussions on health and fitness.
Music enthusiast Jodie Bryant will interview rising music and social media star Arthur Hill on her YouTube show Fan Girl Files.
The Aux stage will also launch a series of ‘Unplugged’ sessions with various artists, including The Vamps’ frontman Bradley Simpson. Additionally, Dork music magazine’s Down with Boring podcast will delve into all things music.
