Lightning Seeds have confirmed plans to celebrate their 35th anniversary next year, with a greatest hits album and huge tour announced for late 2024.
The Merseyside band, fronted by Ian Broudie, will play 17 dates around the UK and Ireland following the release of their 20-track compilation record, “Tomorrow’s Here Today: 35 Years of Lightning Seeds”.
The tour kicks off on November 8th 2024 in Sheffield and finishes on December 14th in Wolverhampton.
Ian Broudie commented: “Wow, I can’t believe it’s been 35 years! Our first single ‘Pure’ really opened the door to a life’s worth of songs, shows and recordings.
“I owe everything to ‘Pure’ and I’m really looking forward to celebrating the 35th anniversary of its release with ‘Tomorrow’s Here Today: 35 Years of Lightning Seeds’ greatest hits album and tour in 2024.”
The band have sold over 8 million albums, which featured hits such as ‘The Life of Riley’, ‘Lucky You’, ‘Pure’, and ‘Three Lions’.

The new album will be released on October 4th. Tickets go on sale this Friday (November 24th) at 10am HERE.
