Tom A Smith Returns With ‘Fading Away’

919 0

Sounding the most mature to date as he continues to find his feet and evolve rapidly as an artist, Tom A Smith launches his eagerly anticipated new single ‘Fading Away’ this evening on BBC Radio 1’s Future Sounds show.

The new track sees the Sunderland artist teaming up with former Maccabee and current 86TVs guitarist, Hugo White, on production.

‘Fading Away’ follows EP3, released earlier this year, which featured some of Tom’s strongest work to date, including the breakthrough single, ‘Weirdo’.

Smith’s development as a singer-songwriter following early teenage success has been remarkable, but he returns to his youth for the new video, starring a nine-year-old Tom A Smith at Blast Beach, Durham.

You can see the track performed live when Tom steps out on his mammoth UK headline tour in November and December, following a 13-date stint supporting Hard-Fi on their comeback tour.

Head to LIVE DATES | Mysite (tomasmithmusic.com) for more information.

Keep an eye on Tom’s socials and streaming platforms from 7:30pm following its first play on Radio 1 tonight to hear ‘Fading Away’.
