Felix Hill Releases “Swim Deep”

After gaining radio and social media attention with early singles Down By The Races and Vodka Lemonade, Felix Hill has been working down in London with a new producer to perfect his sound ahead of a run of new music releases this year.

The first offering was the excellent Safe and Sound last month, and he has wasted no time to follow up with the second release in the shape of Swim Deep, out now on Everybody’s Records.

The Greater Manchester singer-songwriter wrote the track at just 18 years old, picking up the pace from last month’s release and showcasing Hill’s versatility as an artist.

Felix commented: “This one is an optimistic plea, sung from the perspective of a fragile couple, just to throw all differences aside and truly enjoy life, even if it is only for one night.”

Recorded at London’s Eastcote Studios, Hill teamed up with producer, George Murphy (Yungblud), performing the majority of the instrumentation across the two tracks himself.

Adding to the sound was Dan McDougall on drums and piano, fresh from working with Sam Ryder and Baby Queen, as well as touring the world as Liam Gallagher’s live drummer.

Felix Hill is rapidly becoming one to watch as he matures and finds his sound.
