Miles Kane Releases New Single, “The Wonder”

1385 0

After joining Arctic Monkeys on stage for 505 at the Emirates Stadium last weekend, Miles Kane has today returned with the stellar follow-up single to Baggio.

The Wonder is the third track to be taken from highly anticipated new record, One Man Band, out August 4th on Modern Sky Records

Miles commented: “‘The Wonder’ is about those moments in time when the mind wanders over a past relationship, and you feel the presence of that person again. The waves come and go as you sit alone and think about what has been.”

Miles returned to his native Merseyside to record the album at Kempston Street Studios in Liverpool, where he once again finds himself reflective on the follow-up to Change The Show, which he describes as a “deeply personal record”.

The Coral’s James Skelly teamed up with Miles once again for the latest album, with track collaborations including Tom Ogden (Blossoms) and Keiran Shudall (Circa Waves).

Miles continues: “Making the album back in Liverpool with my family really helped to bring this out of me. We left no stone unturned. Sometimes you have to go backwards to go forwards, and this album helped me rediscover why I picked up a guitar in the first place. This album is like a brand new, yet somehow familiar leather jacket. A comforting melting pot of all the music that has inspired and continues to inspire me every day.”

Miles Kane will play sold-out UK out store dates this August. You can listen to ‘The Wonder’ HERE.
