With a name that stands out amongst the crowd on a festival poster, and now resident Neighbourhood Weekender favourites, Irish folk group, The Mary Wallopers are heading to Manchester next month for a highly anticipated show at The Ritz on May 5th.

It signals the start of a UK tour for the Dundalk group, who will visit Leeds, Glasgow, Newcastle, Bath, Birmingham, and London. The seven-date run precedes their return to Victoria Park in Warrington for Neighbourhood Weekender on Saturday 27th May.

Brothers, Charles and Andrew Hendy, and their friend Sean McKenna, formed The Mary Wallopers as a three-piece ballad group performing the length and breadth of Ireland, which led them all the way to America where the band have just finished touring.

Their first five track EP, A Mouthful of The Mary Wallopers, was the first taste of what this band is all about back in 2019, followed by their acclaimed debut album release last year.
