Finally, the week has arrived, and this Friday fans of The Slow Readers Club will finally get their hands on the eagerly anticipated seventh studio album “Out Of A Dream”.
With a cult following, the darkly euphoric Manchester, DIY four-piece are at their most innovative and ambitious for the new record.
The album addresses the anxieties associated with a fast-changing, digital world, the loss of friends who never stood a chance and the lighter side of infatuation and love.
The Slow Readers Club have teamed up with Joe Cross on production duties this time around, now a member of Courteeners and previously working with the likes of Hurts.
Having received support from BBC 6 Music and Radio X, alongside repeated sell-out tours, and with their generation-spanning fanbase growing, the excitement and expectation for this release is bigger than ever.
