The Lathums New Single “Long Shadows” – Out Now!

The Lathums are gearing up to their third album release, as latest single, “Long Shadows”, is out now!

Taken from their forthcoming album, Matter Does Not Define (out 7th March 2025), the track follows “No Direction” and “Stellar Cast” which have rapidly become fan favourite tracks.

The latest era follows two consecutive chart-topping albums with “How Beautiful Life Can Be” and “From Nothing To A Little Bit More”.

Frontman, Alex Moore commented: “It’s about despair, isolation, and the dual nature of love – how it can heal yet hurt.”

The band worked with long-time collaborators Chris Taylor and John Kettle at Liverpool’s Kempston Street Studios to create the new album.

It will be available in various formats, including vinyl, CD, cassette, and digital.

You can see the new material live on their UK & Ireland tour next year, including Leeds’ Millennium Square.

Tickets go on sale at 10am via www.thelathums.com – full dates listed below.

Elsewhere, The Lathums continue to support Wigan’s youth with their Chance To See Fund, raising £25,000 to bring arts experiences to those without access. Fans can contribute via their JustGiving page: Just Giving – Chance To See Fund.
