Oasis Confirm Special Guest For UK & Ireland 2025 Shows

608 0

After plenty of speculation, Oasis have broken their silence on their UK & Ireland support slots for the highly anticipated OASIS LIVE ’25 reunion tour.

Today, The Verve‘s frontman, Richard Ashcroft, has been confirmed as a special guest across all UK & Ireland dates.

Ashcroft’s solo career is still flying high, with a recent hometown sold out show at Robin Park and a Royal Albert Hall performance in London later this year.

He has a long-standing history with the band and has been seen as a shoo-in for the comeback tour lineup since it was announced.

The Wigan singer-songwriter commented: “As a fan from day one I was buzzing for many reasons when the news of Oasis’ return was announced. I can say with no exaggeration that the songwriting talent of Noel and Liam’s pure spirit as a lead singer helped to inspire me to create some of my best work.

“It was the perfection of ‘Live Forever’ that forced me to try and write my own. They dared to be great, made the dreams we had real and I will always remember those days with joy. Now it’s time to create more memories and I’m ready to bring it. See you next summer. Music is power.”

It is also expected that Liverpool’s Cast will be joining the Gallagher brothers next year for the UK & Ireland shows, however there has been no official confirmation.
