Bonehead Set For Oasis Return?

Oasis are back, and ahead of the ticket release this weekend it appears we are a step closer to seeing how the band will line up across the 14-date UK & Ireland tour next year.

An exclusive article has reported the news that founding member Bonehead is confirmed to play a role in the Manchester band’s huge comeback alongside the Gallagher brothers.

Their source said: “Bonehead is confirmed. They both wanted him in the fold and he was one of the drivers of the reunion. Noel has brought in some of his band too. The Oasis family has really come back together. Bonehead is ecstatic.”

It comes following heavy speculation that Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds band members would make up the group with no other founding members.

Gem Archer (guitarist) and Chris Sharrock (drummer) (both formerly of Oasis and Beady Eye) are therefore expected to be part of “OASIS LIVE ’25”.

However, the band are yet to officially confirm any returning band members other than Liam and Noel Gallagher.

If Bonehead is confirmed, it remains unclear in what capacity – he has frequently joined Liam on stage during solo concerts to perform Oasis hits and it remains to be seen if this will be the case again or whether he will return to his former role as full time guitarist.

There are also questions around who will play bass in the new set-up, and whilst Gem Archer can perform as a bassist, he would typically be expected to take the rhythm guitar role.

With two rhythm guitarists, Bonehead and Gem both in the band, this could leave space for another bassist to be confirmed.

Whilst we await the band lineup confirmation, ticket details are below for what is set to be an historic tour next summer.
