So the rumours are true, and one of the UK’s biggest and most iconic bands are returning for a run of 14 live shows in 2025.
“OASIS LIVE ’25” sees the Gallagher brothers burying a 15-year feud to visit Cardiff, Manchester, London, Edinburgh, and Dublin next year as part of the domestic leg and only European dates of a world tour (more international dates TBC).
The gradual realisation that the time is right has reportedly spurred on the reunion, following stellar solo projects from both who remain at the forefront of UK music, selling out arenas and headlining festivals at home and abroad.
The band lineup has not been confirmed for the reunion, however it is expected that Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds’ Gem Archer and Chris Sharrock will be involved, both formerly of Oasis and later Beady Eye.
Oasis commented: “The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised.”
This week is the thirty year anniversary of debut album ‘Definitely Maybe’, while 2025 will see the incredible follow-up, ‘(What’s The Story) Morning Glory?’’ reach the same milestone.
Friday will also see the release of the Deluxe 30th Anniversary Edition of ‘Definitely Maybe’, which is available to pre-order here.
