Lightning Seeds Add Parr Hall Date To UK Tour

The Lightning Seeds are celebrating 35 years in the music business in 2024.

To celebrate this milestone, they have lovingly compiled a 20-track greatest hits album, ‘Tomorrow’s Here Today: 35 Years of Lightning Seeds‘, set to be released on October 4th.

Following the release, they will embark on a 20-date UK tour this winter, and due to high demand and multiple sold-out dates, an extra show has been added at Warrington Parr Hall on December 10th.

The Greatest Hits album is a masterclass in modern pop songwriting by Ian Broudie. Starting with their classic debut single, ‘Pure’, this collection truly lives up to its title, showcasing the best of a band that has sold over 8 million albums.

The 20-track LP features fan favourites such as ‘The Life Of Riley’, ‘Lucky You’, ‘Three Lions’, and plenty more.

Ian Broudie commented: “Wow, I can’t believe it’s been 35 years! Our first single ‘Pure’ really opened the door to a life’s worth of songs, shows and recordings.

“I owe everything to ‘Pure’ and I’m really looking forward to celebrating the 35th anniversary of its release with ‘Tomorrow’s Here Today: 35 Years of Lightning Seeds’ greatest hits album and tour in 2024.”

Tickets for these new tour dates go on sale Friday 28th June at 10am HERE with all other shows on sale now.
