Reading & Leeds have revealed the performers set to grace this year’s iconic BBC Music Introducing Stage, a festival highlight since 2008.
This partnership has been crucial in showcasing emerging artists, and in 2024, over 80% of the lineup at Reading & Leeds have been spotlighted through BBC Introducing.
Among the first announced acts are the alt-rock quartet South Arcade, the London-based band Soft Launch, Gen-Z pop sensation Beren Olivia, and social media star and Reading native Cameron Hayes.
Additional performers for this year’s BBC Music Introducing stage include Newcastle grime artist, NE-O, R&B hip-hop star Aziya, Brighton-born R&B soul songwriter Lyamah, and the dnb hybrid trio NOISY.
Also joining them are Welsh grime producer Douvelle19, electrifying Glasgow band Bottle Rockets, stylish songwriter Nina Arya, and Jamaican-Irish rapper JayaHadADream.
Other announced artists include pop singer and producer Michael Aldag, goth grunge Leeds locals Venus Grrrls, hip-hop and grime artist Prido, soon-to-be pop icon Alessi Rose, Bengali-British rapper Surya Sen, pop-punk sister duo Baby Said, and indie-pop band daydreamers.
Previously announced acts include Halifax’s songstress Ellur, York-based indie-rock band Sun King, Hull’s electro-punk Jodie Langford, and Barnsley’s genre-defying Delilah Bon, offering just a glimpse of the UK’s finest emerging talents.
