Sheffield‘s indie heavyweights, Reverend & The Makers have announced an extensive UK tour set for November this year.
The South Yorkshire-based band, led by Jon McClure, will kick off their 15-show tour in Lincoln on November 8th and wrap up at Manchester Academy on November 28th.
The tour also includes a highly anticipated performance at London’s Electric Ballroom on November 20th.
This tour marks Reverend & The Makers’ first full band tour since February 2023, following the release of their seventh studio album, ‘Heatwave In The Cold North’.
The album debuted at No. 6 on the Official Charts in May last year, securing the group’s their first Top 10 album since their debut, ‘The State of Things’, which reached No. 5 in 2007, and producing their most successful single in over a decade.
Speaking about the tour announcement, lead singer and “The Reverend” himself, Jon McClure commented: “I’m made up to be going on tour again – it’s been too long since we last played any shows. Having toured Heatwave In The Cold North a couple of months before its release I’m looking forward to playing more songs from that album and maybe testing out a few from the next one.”
With a streak of seven consecutive Top 20 albums, the band is currently in the studio working on new music, with more details to be revealed soon.
Tickets for the tour will go on sale on Friday June 14th at 10am HERE.
