With less than 100 days to go before Reading & Leeds Festival returns, a groundbreaking addition has been announced for 2024 in the shape of The Aux stage.
This innovative platform will feature top digital content creators, bringing a new dimension to the renowned festivals known for launching legendary acts and hosting iconic performances.
The Aux stage, situated in the main arenas of both festivals, marks the first time a major music festival will showcase a lineup led by digital creators.
Festival-goers can look forward to live podcasts, interactive talks, streams, and hands-on activities, with no filter and no topic off-limits.
Confirmed acts include The Useless Hotline, Antics With Ash, In Ayamé We Trust, and the M1 Podcast, creating a unique blend of digital and live entertainment.
Melvin Benn, Managing Director of Festival Republic, commented: “The impact of this new generation of creators on our culture is undeniable. The Aux stage will bring their innovative work to a live audience.
“Music and digital innovation have always been intertwined, and this is an exciting moment where online and offline worlds converge. We’ve championed musicians from emerging talent to headliners, and we hope The Aux will do the same for those transforming entertainment.”
Reading & Leeds continue to innovate, offering festival audiences new ways to engage with their favourite online personalities in an intimate setting.
The Aux stage not only allows fans to connect with these creators in person but also generates content that can be enjoyed online after the festival.
