Newcastle‘s coastal music experience, A Stone’s Throw Festival, has revealed the second wave of acts for their biggest event to date.

Taking place on Saturday May 25th, the festival spans across two North East towns, Tynemouth and North Shields, providing a unique experience for UK festival-goers.

It was already confirmed that Sundara Karma would headline the event, and now they have been joined by indie stalwarts, White Lies, along with Vistas, Another Sky, and Alien Chicks.

They join previously announced artists Pip BlomBilk, Downtown Kayoto and Opus Kink, alongside a host of the North East’s finest talent.

Speaking ahead of their opening party performance, White Lies commented: “We’re so excited to be headlining the opening of A Stone’s Throw Festival this year, there’s an amazing lineup and we always feel at home in Newcastle, see you there!”

Nine venues will take part this year, two years on from the festival’s debut outing.

Attendees will experience an array of independent bars, venues and unique spaces, with trusted local bus service, Go North East, once again supplying open top buses and a 7 minute round trip between venues.

Founder, Anthony Thompson (Notion Live Events), adds: “It’s been a real pleasure curating this line up and we’re delighted to be bringing some of the best UK touring acts to North Tyneside this Summer!

“We’ve also bulked out the event by adding an opening party on the Friday night ft. special guests White Lies. This is something we’ve been eager to do for a while and we’re over the moon to be bringing such an amazing band to North Shields.”

Tickets for A Stone’s Throw Festival 2024 are on sale now and priced at £33.62 HERE (opening party ticket £27.50 + fees & bundle ticket £61.12 + fees).
