Noel Gallagher has announced the special guests for the High Flying Birds‘ upcoming summer outdoor headline shows at Robin Park in Wigan and Alexandra Palace in London this July.
Kicking off the show at Robin Park on July 18th will be local chart-toppers, Lottery Winners, along with Manchester‘s loyally followed The Slow Reader’s Club.
At London’s Alexandra Palace on July 20th, The Maccabees‘ spin-off group, 86TVs, and the iconic Echo & The Bunnymen will open for the band following their current Best Of tour celebrating their over 40-year career.
Sold-out performances at venues like Poole’s Lighthouse, Bournemouth O2 Academy, and Portsmouth’s Guildhall precede Noel Gallagher’s return to the Royal Albert Hall for a Teenage Cancer Trust performance, marking a full circle moment since his first charity event in 2000.
In August, Noel will headline both Kendall Calling and Y Not Festival, as well as perform massive outdoor gigs at Warwick Castle, Cardiff Castle, and the already sold-out The Piece Hall at Halifax.
Fans can anticipate sets featuring Oasis classics and tracks from Noel Gallagher’s successful solo career with the High Flying Birds.
These shows will be Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds’ first live performances since their successful UK arena tour in December, which concluded a year of touring across three continents and epic outdoor gigs in celebration of the release of Noel’s fourth solo studio album, “Council Skies”.
