Manchester post-punk outfit, Loose Articles, who are set to perform as special guests at the Foo Fighters’ Emirates Old Trafford show in June, have confirmed some more exciting news.
Their eagerly awaited debut album has been confirmed for release later this year, and you can listen to the incredible first instalment right now.
“I’d Rather Have A Beer” was released today via Alcopop! Records, and addresses negative patterns in relationships with men.
Loose Articles commented on the new track: “‘I’d Rather Have a Beer’ is an anthem encouraging people to go out and have fun with your pals, rather than chasing people and dead relationships who are not worth your time.”
Along with the sought after slot before Foo Fighters in their home city, the band have also confirmed numerous live shows for 2024, including a French tour and festival slots.
Their 2022 breakthrough EP, “Chaos”, and 2023 single, “Sinead Loves Bitcoin”, caught the attention of many industry critics, and you can see these tracks come to life on the live stage, along with new material from the forthcoming debut album.
Further new music and live dates will be revealed over the coming months.
