Ahead of the release of his highly anticipated fifth solo album on Friday, Bill Ryder-Jones has released a brand new single, “I Hold Something In My Hand”.
The co-founding member of The Coral is a music powerhouse, whether it is producing for up and coming artists or continuing to expand his own back catalogue, and “Iechyd Da” is the latest body of work.
“I Hold Something In My Hand” follows previous releases “This Can’t Go On” and “If Tomorrow Starts Without Me”, in the Merseyside musician’s most ambitious chapter to date.
The album was recorded at Bill’s own Yawn Studios in West Kirby, and Ryder-Jones is feeling inspired and hopeful ahead of tomorrow’s release.
Bill commented: “Over the years my music has lost a bit of its hope I reckon. It were important for me to make a record that had more hope in it. Even by my standards the last few years have been rocky, but I’ve chosen to soundtrack it with more positive music, you know?“
Iechyd Da is available to pre-order on DomMart-exclusive coloured vinyl (with postcard), Indies-exclusive coloured vinyl, standard vinyl, CD and digitally.
