After launching in May 2023, Liverpool‘s new venue on the block, CONTENT, has rapidly become one of the city’s go-to music and event spots.
Last year, the likes of Caroline Polachek, Craig Charles, and Maisie Peters were among the names headlining the events space, and 2024 is about to get even bigger.
CONTENT have confirmed their opening events for 2024, starting THIS SATURDAY with one of UK indie’s finest bands, The Vaccines.
The Vaccines will perform in collaboration with Rough Trade for this January treat, celebrating the release of their new album, Pick-Up Full Of Pink Carnations, out this Friday (January 12th).
The show will be followed by The Cheap Thrills and Bill Ryder-Jones (The Coral), with the two local artists confirmed for March.
Mike Deane, CONTENT’s Head of Music, commented: “We’re all absolutely buzzing from such a strong launch as a new live music space in 2023 and attracting such a great range of world class artists, DJs and performers to this incredible new Liverpool venue.
“We’re working with everyone from local independents to established national promoters and curating a programme for 2024 which will build upon what we’ve started. And with The Vaccines, The Cheap Thrills and Bill Ryder-Jones up first, it’s a fantastic start with lots more to come.”
