Rianne Downey Releases “Beautiful View”

As her highly anticipated 15-date UK & Ireland tour gets underway, Scottish singer-songwriter, Rianne Downey, has now released a brand new single.

“Beautiful View” was created after Rianne returned to her “adopted home” city of Liverpool following a busy festival season, where she currently resides and records music.

In a year that has seen Rianne Downey play some of the UK’s biggest stages alongside Paul Heaton, the new release is a strong reminder as to why this fast-rising artist has been garnering such a stellar reputation as a solo artist.

Rianne commented: “This song is about my journey, from being a lost teenager from a small town, with the odds and her own mind against her, to finding my feet and achieving things I didn’t think possible. It’s about the ups and downs of growing up, self-doubt and leaving home.

For most creatives, imposter syndrome can stop you from being able to see what you’re capable of and ‘Beautiful View’ is about taking a moment to see what’s in front of you and realising you’ve got all you need.”

Rianne’s third EP, Method To My Madness, was an acclaimed success, in what has certainly been the biggest year of Rianne’s career so far, and she is now laying the platform for what is to come in 2024 with this latest release.

Fans will be able to hear the new single live on the current UK & Ireland tour, which includes Rianne’s biggest solo show to date at Glasgow’s SWG3.
