Rapidly becoming one of the most exciting prospects coming out of the musical hotspot of Manchester based on songwriting beyond his years, Alex Spencer is back with a brand new single.
‘One Step Forward’ is the latest offering from the 16-year-old singer songwriter’s forthcoming debut EP of the same title, set for release this Friday (November 10th) via Modern Sky UK.
The five-track EP features previous singles, One Way Ticket, and Do What I Wanna, with a limited edition CD release available from Alex’s website.
Speaking about the new single, Alex commented: “One Step Forward talks about how sometimes life can take a turn and stop you in your tracks. These things are gonna try and stop you hitting your goal but you just gotta move forward, don’t let it bother you or set you back.”
The EP will be out in time for fans to get to know the songs before his huge homecoming show at the Deaf Institute on Friday 24th November.
Spencer will also support Jamie Webster at his sold out O2 Victoria Warehouse show on Saturday 18th November, in what is turning out to be quite the month for the rising star.
Keep an eye out for the new ‘One Step Forward’ video, launching tomorrow morning.
