Following their sold out hometown Halifax Piece Hall show in front of 6,000 fans, Embrace have announced a further 13 UK dates to celebrate the 25th anniversary of their debut album, The Good Will Out.

When released back in 1998, it became one of the fastest selling debut albums by a British artist, certified Gold on the day of release and charting at #1 in the UK album chart.

The record went on to achieve Platinum status in the same year, selling over half a million copies in the UK alone.

Frontman, Danny McNamara commented: “I can’t believe it’s been 25 years since we released our debut album, but what’s even more amazing is that it still resonates with so many people after all this time.

The Piece Hall show was one of the best gigs we’ve ever played, and one of the best nights of my life. It’s going to be amazing to take this show out on the road for the first time, we can’t wait”.

The Good Will Out featured three Top 10 singles in the shape of All You Good Good People, Come Back To What You Know and My Weakness Is None Of Your Business, along with One Big Family and Fireworks.

In November this year, fans will get to see the album played out on the live stage in Sheffield, Leeds, Glasgow, Newcastle, and Manchester, with full tour dates listed below.

Tickets go on sale this Friday (28th July) at 9am. You can get yours here: tix.to/Embrace2023.
