From performing with Foo Fighters during headline festival sets, to touring The Smiths‘ songs with Blossoms, Rick Astley is enjoying one of the most remarkable music resurgences of late.
36 years on from the Newton-le-Willows singer’s breakthrough, his biggest hit, Never Gonna Giver You Up, still fills dancefloors to this day, and he returns this year with a brand new album.
Are We There Yet? is Rick’s ninth studio album, out on October 6th, featuring latest single, Dippin’ My Feet, and preceding a huge UK headline tour kicking off at the Royal Albert Hall this November.
Tickets are flying out, and now fresh from a UK #1 album with Anxiety Replacement Therapy, Leigh band, the Lottery Winners have been confirmed as the tour’s opening act.
For all dates except London, Lottery Winners will bring their high energy live show to each arena date, with a couple of extra dates in Belfast and Dublin now added to the original run.
Tickets are on sale now via www.gigsandtours.com and www.ticketmaster.co.uk. Tickets for Belfast and Dublin will go on sale at 9.30am tomorrow – Friday 14th July via www.ticketmaster.ie.
