Mercury Prize winning artist, Little Simz has announced a series of landmark UK shows for 2023, including the iconic Alexandra Palace in London and two huge dates up north.
Little Simz has enjoyed a remarkable breakthrough over the last four years, glistening with critical acclaim and a growing reputation for creativity and stellar live performances.
Her third record, Grey Area was nominated for the Mercury Prize and scooped Best Album at the Ivor Novello Awards, before she went one step further with 2021 release, Sometimes I Might Be Introvert, scooping the Mercury Prize ahead of Sam Fender, Self Esteem, Wet Leg, and Yard Act.
Now, Simz is set to take on the O2 Victoria Warehouse (Manchester) and O2 Academy (Glasgow), as part of a four-date run to celebrate the release of 2022’s surprise album release, NO THANK YOU.
The latest album was accompanied by a “visionary short-film” directed by acclaimed photographer and filmmaker, Gabriel Moses. NO THANK YOU will also be released on vinyl for the first time this week (Friday 16th June).
Pre-sale tickets for the O2 shows will be live on Wednesday 14th June at 10am, followed by pre-sale for Alexandra Palace on Thursday 15th June at 10am and general sale Friday 16th June at 10am.
