Following the major success of third record, Moral Panic, which saw Nothing But Thieves take one big step towards becoming UK rock’s next major festival headliner, the pressure was always going to be on as they approached album 4.

But the release of disco-ready Welcome to the DCC, NBT’s biggest airplay track to date, saw the Southend quintet returning to fine form ahead of the release of brand new record, Dead Club City, out July 7th via RCA/Sony Music.

The second single, Overcome, is also out now, becoming Clara Amfo’s Hottest Record in the World and being named Radio X Record of the Week just two days later.

The band commented: “Overcome has always felt like a ‘throw your stuff in a bag and get away’ song. Dead Club City (the city) would definitely feel enticing for someone like that. We’re all battling something, so having a song on the album that would describe why someone would want change felt right.”

The anticipation is building for both the album release and the group’s huge UK & Ireland tour in October and November. This is a band who rose through the ranks gaining a stellar reputation from their live shows, which is reflected in the incredible demand for tickets.

With two sold out nights at Manchester’s O2 Apollo on November 4th and 5th, NBT have now confirmed a third date at the same venue on November 16th. They will also be visiting Glasgow, Belfast, and many more cities following their US tour in September and October.
