Forget Las Vegas residencies, next year we’ll be treated to Manchester music royalty with a residency at one of the city’s finest venues. Joy Division and New Order icon, Peter Hook has announced three headline shows with Peter Hook & The Light at Albert Hall from Thursday 6th to Saturday 8th April, and these aren’t just any old performances…
The band will be playing two albums in full from both Joy Division and New Order across the first two nights. On Thursday, fans will be treated to “Unknown Pleasures” and “Movement”, with “Closer” and “Power, Corruption & Lies” the following evening. And if that wasn’t enough, the final show on Saturday will see both bands’ compilation albums, “Substance” played in full!
These Easter Homecoming concerts will mark the first time that Peter Hook & The Light have combined New Order and Joy Division’s individual albums in one show. A season ticket is also available for all three concerts limited to 300 tickets. All season ticket holders will receive a commemorative lanyard and laminate unique to the three concerts.
Tickets for the three dates go on sale this morning at 10am from https://www.ticketweb.uk/search?q=easter+homecoming. Act fast to avoid disappointment!
