They have just released their critically acclaimed album, “Autofiction”, and if that wasn’t enough, Suede have now released tickets for their March 2023 UK tour dates, starting at Bath Forum on March 3rd and culminating with a huge show at the O2 Academy Brixton on March 25th. The latter will be 30 years on from their iconic debut performance at the same venue in May 1993!
The band mysteriously performed and released new music recently under the alias, “Crushed Kid”, with fans getting to see the new material at London’s Moth Club and Manchester’s Deaf Institute. Whilst you can expect the same energetic live performances next year, the main tour venues will accommodate quite a few more fans…
However, ahead of their March 2023 headline tour, Suede will also perform Autofiction at a series of very special shows through September and October 2022. They are playing some of the UK and Europe’s most intimate venues – including two nights at London’s Electric Ballroom. The band will also perform at a series of in-store concerts and signing appearances at UK record shops in September.
Frontman, Brett Anderson commented: “Autofiction is our punk record. No whistles and bells. Just the five of us in a room with all the glitches and fuck-ups revealed; the band themselves exposed in all their primal mess. Autofiction has a natural freshness, it’s where we want to be.”
Suede have also released an accompanying short film production for the record, “Autofiction: A Short Film”.
Tickets for the tour are on sale NOW. Full dates and information is listed HERE.
