The Lightning Seeds have announced an autumn UK tour, which will see the Liverpool band perform a mammoth 14 dates around the UK, including a homecoming gig at the Eventim Olympia. They will be joined on all dates (except Brighton) by Mercury Prize winner, Badly Drawn Boy, with the tour spanning just over a month in October and November 2022.
The Merseyside band will kick things off in Cambridge on 27th October, with the final show taking place at Sheffield’s Leamdill on November 26th. The eagerly anticipated hometown date for the calendars is Saturday 12th November.
Performing hits from their extensive and catchy discography such as “Pure” and “Life of Riley”, The Lightning Seeds could also bring out their iconic football song, “Three Lions”, in the lead up to the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
And if the tour announcement wasn’t enough, the band have also confirmed a new album. ‘See You In The Stars’ will be released on 14th October, with new single now ‘Sunshine’ out now!
