Pale Waves Announce Album, Single & Tour

Pale Waves are back with three big announcements – a new album, a new single and a UK tour! “Lies” has been revealed as the first track to be taken from their forthcoming third album, Unwanted”set for release on Friday 12th August via Dirty Hit.

The record is the product of Heather Baron-Gracie and Ciara Doran‘s move to America, produced in Los Angeles by Zakk Cervini (Blink-182, Halsey). We spoke to Heather about what to expect from the new music in the lead up to their huge homecoming show at Victoria Warehouse earlier this year.

Speaking about the new single, Heather commented: “‘Lies’ is about someone who built up my trust and destroyed it like a wrecking ball. It caused some real trust issues, but fortunately for me that person is no longer in my life. Once you do me wrong you’re gone!”

Speaking about the album, Heather continues: “It was really the only thing this album could be called. It’s bold and unapologetic, and that’s what the Pale Waves community is about. We don’t need to fit a perfect mould, we don’t need to apologise for being ourselves, and we won’t change for anyone. That acceptance is what connects us.”

If the follow-up chapter to “My Mind Makes Noise” and “Who Am I?” isn’t enough, Pale Waves have also confirmed a UK headline tour for November. It includes a headline show at the O2 Academy Brixton, and follows a string of festival dates at the likes of Neighbourhood Weekender, Y Not Festival and Reading & Leeds.

Tickets will be available via fan pre-sale at 10am on 18th May, and on general sale from 10am on 20th May. Full dates are listed below.
