We’re back with Friday ticket releases, providing you with all the information you need to book your place at some of the biggest weekly gig announcements. We have one of the leading forces of northern indie this week, along with the return of electronic indie pioneers and British rock stalwarts from Yorkshire. We have the links, dates and time of sale, so here are our picks this week…

BLOSSOMS

Stockport‘s finest, Blossoms are playing an exclusive intimate show at the O2 Academy Islington next month to coincide with the release of their fourth album, ‘Ribbon Around The Bomb’. The gig will take place on May 4th. O2 Priority Tickets went on sale 9am Wednesday 20th April, but for everybody else the general sale starts at 9am today here.

HOT CHIP

Hot Chip are back after confirming details of their eighth album, ‘Freakout/Release‘, due for release on August 19th via Domino. The band have also announced four nights at O2 Academy Brixton, taking place from 21st to 24th September 2022. Tickets are on sale from 9am today here. You can also catch Hot Chip at an array of UK festivals this summer. Brixton dates are listed below!

EMBRACE

Embrace have announced their eighth studio album,How To Be A Person Like Other People’, which will be released on 26th August 2022 via their own Mo’betta label through Townsend Music. They will also be touring the UK shortly after release, kicking off in Aberdeen on August 31st and culminating in Norwich on September 11th. Support will come from Lottery Winners across all dates.
