Sheffield five-piece, SHEAFS have revealed details of their highly anticipated debut album, ‘A Happy Medium’. The news is accompanied by brand new single, ‘Millennial’, and follows their sought after support slots with northern punk icons, Buzzcocks on their recent UK tour. The record will be released on 15th July 2022 via Modern Sky UK.
Commenting on the new single, which continues the band’s relationship with two-time Grammy award-winning producer Adrian Bushby, the band said: “‘Millennial’ is a direct reference to our generation and the burden of trying to find success in every avenue of life. The track tries to echo the frustration that accompanies this so-called ‘pressure to succeed’.”
As if that wasn’t enough, SHEAFS are gearing up for May and July 2022 UK headline tour dates, along with an appearance at Tramlines Festival in Sheffield, with further live dates to be announced in due course. We can also expect new music in the near future ahead of the debut album release, with 2022 promising to be a year to remember for the South Yorkshire band!
