RATS To Release New Single This Month

2021 was a great year for Liverpool band, RATS. They were given the honour of becoming the first signing to new music promoters, This Feeling‘s new record label, This Feeling Records, launched in partnership with Warner Music’s ADA. They also played Isle of Wight Festival, supported DMA’s and released the popular catchy single, ‘Patsy Decline’. Now, it’s time to step up the pace in 2022, as a brand new single is just around the corner.

RATS Discuss Supporting DMA’s

The new single. ‘Jenny’ is the next taste of the distinctively Scouse band’s fast rise in the world of indie. Frontman, Joe Maddocks has teased the track with a social media acoustic clip, and it promises to be one of their best to date. It tells the tale of a young woman whose ambitions instead spark a downward spiral. Joe says, “‘Jenny’ is a story about a student who is forced to go to uni by her parents, but she has bigger dreams that soon turn sour.”

‘Jenny’ was produced by Chris Taylor (The Lathums, Blossoms) at Parr Street Studios in Liverpool, and mastered at Abbey Road Studios. It will be released on March 24th! RATS will also be performing as special guests for fellow indie newcomers, The K’s, as well as playing some festival dates in 2022. See below for full details.
