Luke Royalty Releases “Stay Gold”

When we interviewed Luke Royalty back in March, he promised new music was on the way. His previous tracks ‘I Could Get Used To This’ and ‘I Do’ garnered plenty of critical and social media acclaim, and he has now delivered the goods once again with his latest single, ‘Stay Gold’, out now on Soul Kitchen Recordings.

Previous single, ‘I Do’, was named BBC Introducing Track of the Week, so the bar was set pretty high for the new release. But working alongside long-term collaborator and producer, Bob Mackenzie, and Neverbloom at Motor Museum Studios in Liverpool, Luke has lived up to expectations with a laid back summer-ready anthem.

Speaking of the track, the Darlington singer-songwriter says: “It’s a summer song about making the most of the good times while they last. Made for long evenings and tinnies in the park, the track is ready to soundtrack summer 2021!”

You can hear the track performed live later this year, as Luke is set to play a string of UK festival dates. You can catch him at the likes of 110 Above and Twisterella. You can read our interview with Luke Royalty HERE. Listen to ‘Stay Gold’ HERE.
