Rising indie-pop band, Lottery Winners have released a new single, ‘Times are Changing’, ahead of their upcoming 2nd album, ‘Something to Leave the House For’. The Leigh four-piece are in high spirits as they race out of lockdown with a fresh, positive soundtrack to post-pandemic life, with live music, summer festivals and a return to some sense of normality just around the corner.
Lottery Winners didn’t allow lockdown to halt their creativity, following up their 2020 debut album with the poignant ‘An Open Letter to Creatives’, as well as teaming up with Frank Turner on ‘Start Again’ and forming an unlikely transatlantic partnership with Nickelback for the ‘Rockstar Sea Shanty’.
The new album will be released on Friday 24th September via Modern Sky. Bassist and vocalist, Katie Lloyd commented: “If something so bleak and harrowing can hit us all, totally out of the blue, and change our lives, then by definition that must mean that something beautiful can too.”
