North west indie-pop outfit, UNO MAS, are back with their brand new single ‘Glue’, which will be released on Friday 19th March and will be available to stream on all major platforms.

Known for their catchy lyrics and memorable melodies, the band is influenced by multiple genres including pop, indie, and rock. ‘Glue’ is the latest offering from the UNO MAS catalogue and is the much anticipated follow-up to singles ‘Don’t You Know’, ‘Glass Houses’ & ‘Bored’, which caught the attention of XS Manchester and BBC Introducing last year.

Lead singer, Ollie Thornton says: “’Glue’ is about the need for that one special person. The one who everyone loves, they are ‘good as gold’ as the lyrics go, the one that really stands out. You meet them once and they ‘stick like glue’ and that’s that, you’re obsessed. You know you shouldn’t be and you’re being irrational in your head but you are obsessed.

Everytime you see them it’s like a drug, you’re bothered, not yourself and all over the place but everytime they are gone you want more, which is why the chorus to ‘Glue’ refers to that person as the protagonist’s ‘Demon’. The only hope is that they feel the same way. ‘Tell me girl what’s your Demon? Because My Demon is you’.”

We caught a sneak preview of the track this week and can guarantee that the infectious chorus will stick in your head, quite like glue… We are expecting big things for UNO MAS in 2021, and the release of ‘Glue’ is a real statement of intent from this exciting new band!
