7-year-old Robyn from Bury, Greater Manchester, is walking or running 5k every day in March, to raise money for her uncle Lynchy after his heart-breaking brain cancer diagnosis.
Robyn’s godfather, Antony Lynch (aka Uncle Lynchy), had a bleed on the brain caused by a brain tumour diagnosed in December 2018. Despite the cancer diagnosis, developing COVID-19 and a stroke that left Antony with no feeling down one side of his body, he has kept fighting on, learning again to do everyday tasks that we all take for granted.
Robyn made the decision to walk or run 5k every day in March to fundraise hydrotherapy sessions in a special brain injury gym, which have helped Antony massively in his fight.
